Charge Groove: Seamless Charge Cord Management for Your Sprinter Van
Many Mercedes owners wonder why the charging ports are hidden inside a closed compartment — a design that often leads to bent cables, poor access, and unnecessary wear.
After a customer asked us to drill a hole in the lid to improve usability, we recognized a common problem — and turned it into a design opportunity.
We developed a smarter solution that improves cable management, protects your charging cords, and makes daily use significantly more convenient.
Easy, No-Drill Installation
Custom-built for VS30 (2019+) Mercedes Sprinter vans, the Charge Groove is a simple yet powerful bracket that is placed between the compartment lid and the dash with grooves that transforms that area into a clean, organized charging hub. No more slamming it shut on cables or fumbling around mid-drive. Just smooth access and smarter cable routing.
Crafted in-house at Terra X using ultra-durable Nylon 12 and SLS 3D printing, the Charge Groove is made to last through all your adventures. Whether you’re in a Revel, Storyteller, Ekko, or any compatible camper van, this clever accessory helps you make the most of the ports you already have, without drilling, damage, or clutter.
Complete Your Dashboard Setup
A clean charge setup is just the start. To really optimize your Sprinter dash, you’ll want your phone, tablet, or GPS locked in and always within reach, especially on rough terrain.

Why do I need the Charge Groove for my Sprinter?
To fix a major factory design flaw. The Sprinter's charging ports are hidden inside a closed compartment, which normally pinches, bends, and damages your cables when the lid is shut. The Charge Groove creates a seamless channel that protects your cords, allows the lid to close perfectly, and keeps your cockpit clutter-free.
How do I know which size (Small or XL) fits my van?
It's a quick and easy check. Grab a tape measure and check the lid of your dash compartment:
- Small Size: The lid measures 11 inches across and has air vents on each side.
- XL Size: The lid measures 20 inches across, with no air vents but built-in cup holders.
Is any drilling or permanent modification required?
No drilling required. While the idea originally started from a customer asking us to drill into their dash, we engineered a much smarter, 100% non-destructive solution. It installs in minutes without damaging your factory console, making it completely DIY-friendly.
What if I am still unsure about the correct size?
We’ve got you covered. If your dashboard layout looks different or you just want to be 100% sure before ordering, simply snap a quick photo of your dash compartment and send it to our team. We’re happy to help you figure it out!
