Our Roots and Passion
Born in Germany, Alex brings a lifelong dedication to design and engineering, fueled by a commitment to quality. This ethos is at the heart of everything we create at Terra X. Jenny, hailing from Tennessee, discovered her passion for being part of the creative process after meeting Alex. Together, we form a unique blend of precision engineering and creative flair.
The Pivot to Van Life
In 2018, we made a life-altering decision to close our custom furniture business and embark on a new adventure. We built our first camper van, setting off to explore the U.S. and find a new direction for our passion. Little did we know, our journey would take an exciting turn in San Diego.
A Turning Point
At a van meetup in San Diego, our lives changed. Alex's craftsmanship in our van drew a crowd, igniting a spark that led us to start Terra X in 2019. We realized our calling was in creating and innovating for vans, specifically the Mercedes Sprinter.
